FAQ
REQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
+ Can I meet you locally to pick up my order?Because I split my time between Tucson and Phoenix, I need at least two weeks notice to arrange local pick up. Shipping locally is both fast and convenient, and is usually the best option for both myself and my customers.
+ What is gold filled? Will it tarnish?
Gold filled is a layer of real gold, pressure bonded to another metal - usually brass. Gold "filled" is not to be confused with gold "plated" as filled has 100% more gold than plated. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant; it does not flake or rub off. Anyone who can wear gold can wear gold filled without worries of any allergic reaction to it. Gold filled Items are regulated by the government and in the jewelry industry the quantity of gold must be at least 1/20 by weight of the total product.
It is possible, depending on jewelry storage and/or general care that gold filled jewelry will darken in color over time, however if taken care of properly it can retain its shine for years to come! See care instructions below.
